SKJUTEBO HOUSE

The mainly timber scheme at Skjutebo, next to lake Vederydssjön in Jönköpings Län, in the south of the country, has been drawn up for a young Swedish/British family.

The design was influenced by the family’s love of simple modern buildings that are easy to build and give elegant open spaces with stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.

The house will have a sedum roof and roof terrace and will be clad with Siberian Larch. It features a 4.3m-high glazed folding door opening from the living room out to the forest.
